This 0230K00001 sodium nitride ignitor is a genuine Goodman OEM replacement ignitor kit for several Goodman, Amana, and Janitrol units. Due to the extremely fragile nature of B1401018S sodium carbide ignitors, we highly recommend retrofitting your furnace with a 0230K00001 sodium nitride ignitor. Sodium nitride ignitors have been proven to be seven times stronger than sodium carbide ignitors making them a wise choice when repairing your broken furnace.
